FiiO has unveiled its first pair of Bluetooth over-ear headphones, the FiiO EH3 NC over the weekend at the China Chengdu International Headphone Expo 2019.
Originally known as the FiiO EH3, the product in the making first surfaced when James Chung, CEO of FiiO shared on a render of the design in a Facebook post on 26 March 2018 and a lot has evolved since then.
Currently, in the final pre-production phase, the company has chosen to unveil the EH3 NC at the International Headphone Expo in Chengdu, China and allow enthusiasts to experience and provide feedback on the pre-production prototype.
FiiO’s first attempt to deliver a pair of Bluetooth over-ear headphones to the market, the FiiO EH3 NC feature active noise cancellation using FeedForward (FF) and FeedBack (FB) hybrid approach coupled with a high-performance noise-cancellation chip from ADI.
Equipped with a 1,000mAh battery, the EH3 NC has a battery life of 40 hours on a single charge, charging time is about 2 hours with a standby time of 1,000 hrs.
The FiiO EH3 is a pair of closed-back headphones featuring a 45mm Titanium-plated dynamic driver and is equipped with Qualcomm’s Flagship CSR8675 Bluetooth chip, providing support all current Bluetooth audio codecs which include: AAC, SBC, aptX, aptX HD, LDAC, LHDC (HWA) as well as One-Touch NFC.
Available in Black, the FiiO EH3 NC is scheduled for release in 2 months, price is to be confirmed.
